Samantha Mensching was born and raised in New York City, immersed in its vibrant arts culture. She began studying art at an early age at The Art Students League of New York and majored in fine art at LaGuardia High School of Art. She then moved to West Palm Beach, Florida, continuing her studies at Dreyfoos School of the Arts. Samantha earned her BA in Art History and Education from Florida State University, and she is currently pursuing her Master's in Art Education. During her time at FSU, she studied art in Florence, Italy, learning the techniques of the masters. She is passionate about teaching and instilling a love of art in others, and she is currently working as a Museum Educator and Teaching Artist at the Norton Museum of Art in West Palm Beach. She is a multidisciplinary artist and her work centers personal emotion and everyday interactions with the world.
